Speed and direction of the output motor are controlled entirely by Series 90 displacement and port direction. This architecture eliminates the throttling losses that make open-circuit systems inefficient in reversing or variable-speed applications.
For German precision machinery where repeatable positioning and controlled acceleration matter as much as peak force output, the closed-loop Series 90 circuit offers dynamic response that valve-controlled open-circuit designs cannot match. The swashplate servo response is fast, the closed-loop stiffness is high, and the absence of directional valve hysteresis means that position and speed commands translate directly into output behavior.
